Recycle Rewards Program

 Recycle Rewards is a key initiative of the Tasmanian Government which aims to reduce litter and create clean streams of recycled materials that will help build Australia’s circular economy.

From 1 May 2025, Tasmanians will receive a 10c refund for returning eligible drink containers to designated refund points around Tasmania. 

Recycle Rewards aims to provide all Tasmanians with opportunities to participate in the scheme and claim refunds for eligible containers. There is a network of 49 refund points across the State, including on King and Flinders Islands. Find your nearest location | Recycle Rewards 10c Refunds
